MOUNT BATUKARU, BALI

May 10-17, 2026

7 nights to rediscover the art of rest, receptivity + inner rhythms.

Amidst the clamor of a world that never stops demanding our attention, choosing to pause and feel is a radical act.

We so often push through or brace against life, but there is another way. Yielding doesn’t mean collapsing; it means staying with what is and allowing space for response over reaction. To sense and to soften.

This week invites you to nourish and unfurl. Rest can be hard alone, so we’ll practice communal rhythms together.

In the lush mountains of Bali, we’ll step away from the noise and return to ease. Together, we’ll lay down what is ready to be released and welcome the tenderness that comes when space opens.

Can you let go just a little more? Breathe a fuller breath? Settle, drip by drip, into the unfolding field of possibility.

“These times are urgent, let us slow down.”

The Invitation

The invitation is to quiet the mind, open the heart, and nurture the spirit amidst the serene landscapes of Bali. This is not about bustling streets or rushing to capture every moment (though you’re welcome to explore that before or after!). Instead, we’ll co-create a vessel—a community to explore ritualized rest and a gentle communal cadence.

In a world that moves so quickly, we need these analog spaces to recalibrate, to reconnect, and to remember what nourishes us.

Who It’s For

This retreat is for anyone longing for pause from daily demands and a deeper relationship with themselves and the living earth. Each day offers gentle, accessible practices—soothing slow flows and yin-style sessions designed for full, spacious exhales.

Alongside embodied movement and yoga, we’ll explore eco-somatic ways of meeting the land: barefoot meditations, listening to birdsong, creating botanical art, and immersing in Bali’s lush landscape with deep presence.

BATUKARU COFFEE ESTATE

Nestled on the south easterly slopes of Mount Batukaru, is the organic coffee estate, biodynamic farm & retreat center. Surrounded by protected jungle, our home for the week is the ideal place to escape from the hustle, reconnect with nature and savor the breathtaking views and magic of Bali.

Batukaru is worshiped by the Balinese and is home to Pura Luhur Batukaru, on of the nine directional temples in Bali. The large crater, with an opening at the southern end, allows river Mawa to flow, hence its name “Batukaru”, which means “coconut shell” in Balinese.
