May we use the word becoming becoming becoming

as our central mantra

and accept everything that it brings in its path

~ Bayo Akomolafe

This retreat is a return—a quiet unfolding into stillness, a tuning into what is felt, and a rekindling of our relationship with the subtle.

Here, we will immerse ourselves in the wisdom of our own remembering, letting it guide us as we steep in stillness, presence, and a quiet unfolding.

As we dance between the internal and external, the personal and the collective, may this remembering create a more harmonious and authentic connection with the world around us, allowing the outer web to reweave into a deeper wisdom.

May we know the nectar that flows from a willingness to sink deeply within, to ground ourselves in stillness, to listen intently, to sing, to move, to impulse, and to be fully witnessed in it all.

We were put here to gawk: To be amazed. That is our spiritual responsibility. What is asked of us in return for all of this beauty is to acknowledge the majesty of this world and to reply with rituals of appreciation and gratitude.

~ Brian Swimme

Gather with us as we steep into the darker season, drawing towards center, circle, and each other. Expect slow practices and soft kinship, restorative meanderings, as weave a collective sanctuary of slowness, ritual and rest.

Imagine fireside poetry, sitting with tea, somatic breathwork, contemplative movement, mythic wonderings, melty flows, candlelit yin and remembering our nature - together.

We’re honored to welcome Ahlay Blakely for a fireside, embodied song ritual. Through call and echo, she’ll share songs rooted in the community singing movement—simple, soulful, and meant to be felt.

After days of tending our small container, we’ll open the afternoon to the village, inviting local folx to join in shared song. Together, we’ll turn towards of collective resonance—a weaving of voices and hearts.

This is a space to remember sound as a birthright and to let the voices carry what words cannot. A coming together toward center—of self, of community, of song.

Nestled within the Columbia River basin, outside of Portland, Oregon, we’ll be gathering on a secluded twenty-acre sanctuary of old-growth cedar, open meadows, and a bubbling creek—offering the perfect refuge for deep rest and renewal.

Nurture your senses in the cedar barrel sauna and cold plunge for the senses as well as a couple outdoor bathtubs.
