Cole Chance
I’m Cole—a mover, a wonderer, an apprentice of the human experience. My journey has taken me through addiction, across continents, and into the depths of my own psyche. Again and again, I’ve found that the most profound journey is the return, the one that leads us back home—to our bodies, our breath, and a life deeply felt.
I believe in movement as medicine, story as a bridge, and curiosity as compass. I like to explore where the our somatic experience meets philosophy, neuroscience, and myth in order to to help us remember who we are beneath and within all the layers.
I teach in spaces where freedom isn’t about fixing yourself—but softening the grip of who you think you need to be. Where we practice not to perfect, but to belong. These offerings are invitations to question, soften, and expand into what is already alive.
I’m governed by wonder. Each small fascination a doorway into this wild, relational, heartbreaking, beautiful life. Lately, that’s looked like holotropic breathwork, eco-somatics, mythopoetics, human finitude, dance, and birds (always the birds!). Other things I love: shaggy dogs, pickup basketball, long road trips, and reading too many books at once.
Through my program EMERGE, I offer an embodied approach to addiction recovery that’s honest, gritty, and rooted in remembering our inherent wholeness. I also co-created The Mindfulish School, a rebellious little yoga school blending deep study with real life—because healing doesn’t live in a vacuum.
I bow to the many teachers, human and more-than-human, who continue to shape my path. May we all keep finding our way—not to perfection, but to presence. Not to a destination, but to the forever evolving dance.

May we use the word
becoming becoming becoming
as our central mantra and accept everything that it brings in its path.
