It is a joy to welcome you to The Soft Return where we’ll gather in the lush mountains of Northern Thailand to remember something ancient and human through movement, story, and shared ritual.
Over the course of the week we will explore simple pathways of connection and quiet practices of returning home to ourselves and to one another.
We are so excited that you’ve chosen to be part of this sangha and we cannot wait to share this time together.
We’ll be reaching out again about a month out from go time! Until then, please feel free to reach out with any + all questions to me a hello@colechanceyoga.com
With love,
Cole, Em & Persia
The retreat runs from December 1 through December 7.
On Dec 1 we will meet in the Old Town of Chiang Mai at 3 pm and travel together to our home for the week, which is about 45 minutes outside the city.
On Dec 7 we will return to Chiang Mai by 11:30 am.
If you are flying in or out on either of these days, please give yourself at least an hour of buffer on each side to make airport travel feel easeful. We also strongly encourage arriving a few days early or staying a few days afterward if you can as this allows time to adjust to the time difference, integrate the experience, and enjoy some solo wandering in Chiang Mai, which is an incredible cultural hub.
Most international flights arrive into Bangkok. From there you will need to continue on to Chiang Mai.
You can book your flight straight through to Chiang Mai, or book a separate domestic flight from Bangkok depending on what works best for your schedule. Some people also choose to spend a few days in Bangkok before flying north. If you are feeling adventurous, there is also a scenic train route from Bangkok to Chiang Mai.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions as you plan your travel.
